Rolls-Royce Toastmaster elections are rapidly approaching this May. Please give this some thought and nominate someone for each office that you think will do a good job. You can nominate any club member, including yourself. The only ineligibility we have is Rob Burtz, who cannot serve a second term as President, but can be nominated for any other position.

Nominations are open now through May 8th at noon. Email your nominations to our acting-IPP (Immediate Past President), Rob Burtz. The officer positions that will be voted upon are as follows:

President

VP Education

VP Membership

VP Public Relations

Treasurer

Secretary

Sergeant at Arms

If you are nominated, you must accept by noon on May 14th. No reply is the same as declining. If you accept more than one nomination (can accept up to all 7 offices), you must prioritize the offices according to your preference.

The May 15th meeting is a special meeting just for officer elections. President Burtz will conduct the elections with the assistance of 2 vote counters. The club will vote for President first, count the votes, and then announce the results before voting to elect the next officer, VPE. If the new President's name is on the VPE ballot it will be ignored, and newly elected officers. Similarly, as other officers are elected, their names will be ignored on the next ballot, etc.

The current officer terms end at midnight June 30th. There is a 6 week period from May 15 – June 30, for the current officer to train the officer-elect. The new officers will attend Training at TLI on June 14th.

Finally, to review officer duties, you can click here.
